About Instructor

Dr. (Mrs.) C. Muthulakshmi is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in commerce and management education. Born on May 19, 1982, she is currently 41 years old and resides in Sivakasi. She holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Ph.D. in Commerce, an MBA in Marketing Management, and an M.Com in Computer Applications. Her academic journey is marked by significant achievements, such as securing the IXth University Rank in her M.Com program and qualifying for the UGC-NET with JRF in Commerce. Dr. Muthulakshmi began her career as an Assistant Professor in MBA at P.S.R. Engineering College, where she served for nearly five years. She has been an Assistant Professor in Commerce (PG) at G. Venkataswamy Naidu College since 2014, contributing over eight years to the institution. Her research interests include Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices, which was the focus of her doctoral research. Her professional accolades include receiving a financial grant from ICSSR-SRC for organizing a national conference and recognition as a Ph.D. guide in Commerce by Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. She has guided multiple M.Phil. and Ph.D. scholars, with three Ph.D. scholars having completed their theses under her supervision. Dr. Muthulakshmi is also an active participant in academic and professional development activities. She has attended numerous webinars, seminars, conferences, workshops, and faculty development programs. Additionally, she has published 23 research articles in ISSN journals, showcasing her commitment to advancing knowledge in her field. Her involvement extends to curriculum development as a Board of Studies member and contributing to the academic community as a resource person for NET/SET examination orientation programs. Her dedication to education and research continues to inspire her colleagues and students alike.
