It begins with an introduction to event management, emphasizing its definition, need, and significance, followed by the development and evaluation of event concepts and designs. The course explores event feasibility through resource assessment and SWOT analysis, enabling students to determine the viability of an event. Students will also learn effective event planning and promotional strategies, including the application of the 5 P’s of event marketing—Product, Price, Place, Promotion, and Public Relations. Finally, the course addresses financial aspects such as budgeting, cost analysis, and securing sponsorships, equipping students with essential tools for managing event finances efficiently.
