network analysis
Operations Research (OR) is a scientific approach to problem-solving and decision-making that applies mathematical modeling, optimization, and analytical techniques to allocate resources effectively. The course covers linear programming, transportation and assignment problems, game theory, inventory models, queuing theory, replacement problems, simulation, and network analysis (PERT/CPM). Emphasis is placed on formulating real-life problems, applying suitable OR methods, and interpreting results to support effective decision-making in industries such as business, manufacturing, logistics, and public systems.
