Some of the areas include symmetric and asymmetric encryption, hashing, digital signatures, SSL/TLS and IPSec. Examples to be taught by students will include the modes of authentications, access control, and intrusion detection modes. This course helps the students before graduating to have a clue on how to design secure systems and even other anticipated cybersecurity issues.
